I have 2 words for you: grilled corn. This charming cuban spot off Bleecker has the best grilled corn I have ever had: succulent, flavorful, fresh. I could order batches of it for snacking.

Aside from the grilled corn, this restaurant is a true gem. Whether you’re in the lush indoor space with red velvet boothes or the back garden, it is so easy to feel like you could make this place you’re own or that you’re eating in your own dining room. The service is attentive but not smothering and its not your typical noisy to the point of deafness Latin American joint.

The food. Oh, the food. Large portions, fresh produce, spicy, hot, savory, and impossible to dislike, in my humble opinion. I’m not even going to recommend specific dishes because they are all good.

Take a date here for some sexy Latin romance or a group of friends (the mojitos are divine) for lively get-together.
